A feature or interview can introduce a business to a new reader. What happens next depends on whether that reader can take a useful next step.
Give each story one clear destination. That might be a service page, a product demonstration, a booking link or a way to ask a question. The destination should match what the story actually discusses.
Keep the invitation specific. Someone reading about a founder’s approach to customer service may want to understand the service. Someone reading about a tool may want to see it in action. Neither needs to be confronted with every offer the company sells.
When someone does inquire, preserve the context. Which story brought them in? What did they ask about? Who will respond? A useful handoff begins with those details, rather than starting the relationship again from zero.
Newsletter subscriptions should be a separate choice. A reader can want an answer to one question without requesting ongoing promotional messages. Clear choices make the relationship easier for both sides.
The goal is straightforward: make the next step obvious, useful and consistent with the interest that brought the person there.
